Caren's Career Evolution
My career has taken many twists and turns. For more than 30 years I have pursued my natural inclinations and callings leading to careers in decorative arts, holistic health and wellness, early childhood education, adult and career education, educational research, program development and grant-writing, and healthcare administration. Coaching, my seventh career, weaves together many of my skills, values, strengths, and beliefs to help you gain clarity and confidence to forge your own unique career path, something I am intimately familiar with!

As if seven career transitions is not enough, simultaneously I raised a family, tended many a garden, nurtured an assortment of four-footed and winged friends, pursued spiritual paths and practices that gave me inner peace and ways to make meaning of life's mysteries.

Along the way, I needed to develop new skills, learn bodies of knowledge, earn education credentials, and find ways to achieve balance while juggling many demands. I learned to re-position myself and reinvent my career as I grew and faced different stages of life.

How I was drawn to coaching?
No one could have prepared me for my own career evolution. Adapting to life circumstances like the ups and downs of the economy, the extraordinary ways that parenting shifted my goals, and choosing to raise my family in a semi-rural location contributed significantly to the career and work choices I made.

That is what inspires me to be a coach who helps people make sense of their past career experiences and integrate what worked to create satisfying next steps. My coaching skills and life experiences allow me to offer compassion for where you are now, faith that you can get to where you wish to be, and structure and strategies to support you as you take charge of your future.
